Almost But Not Quite

I don't have much to talk about today so here are some progress pics of the bag and the sock for Auntie Dee:

I got 7 more rounds to go before I start knitting the straps on this bag. I'm hoping I could finish it by this weekend and felt it so I can use it for this event in 2 weeks.

As for the socks, there is only one more inch to go and sock number 1 will be done. I'm dreading knitting the second sock because it's boring, big, and long. It has taken me almost 2 months to get to this point of the knittting. Because of this experience, I think I will never knit another stockinette sock on such small gauge (9 stitches the inch, to be exact).

This week should be busy for me, so don't expect much from this blog. However I do have something special for you guys next week. Details later!

The bag is looking great. Love the color combo.

I am having the same problem with a pair of socks I'm knitting on size 0's. They even have a little baby cable rib in them but are so incredibly dull to knit. I cannot wait to finish them but at this rate, who knows when that will be.
